At the Cross - No Greater Love Than This.

Last night a dear friend of mine called me and wanted to come over and talk. I've known him for years and we are very good friends. I love him as a brother in Christ. We share books on the Bible; many topics pertaining to the Love of God. We read the books and then get back with each other and discuss what the Lord is telling us.

We ARE searching for the truth of God's word together. He has been praying for God to show him THE TRUTH for many months and God is revealing His love to him. There is no greater Love, there is no greater Truth than the Cross. There is no greater Way. He made a way for us. Praise God!

I told him that we stand in the shadow of the cross; we all do. There's protection at the foot of the cross. There is redemption in the blood of Jesus. He has overcome the grave, who can separate us now. It is done. Jesus showed us the way by going before us. He has overcome the grave. He made the way when he said 'it is done.'

This morning while doing my Bible study, the Holy Spirit filled the room. Wow, I love it when that happens!!!!! I turned on my surround sound CD player and put in one of my favorite CD's.'Mighty to Save'. As usual, I felt the need to write down what the Lord was teaching me. I owe my life to God. I will worship Him forever.

There is no greater love than this. At the cross I bow my knee. No greater love than this. Glory fills the highest place.

Praise God! I love this song. Even Job knew this about God. Without a doubt the oldest book of the Bible, Job knew this. Long before Moses and the Torah, Job knew the goodness of God. Even with suffering, Job knew God was faithful. Now after thousands of years of human history, God is still faithful. God is still true. God is still LOVE. All we have to do is accept it.

I am praying for my friend. I am praying that he finds the truth he seeks. I pray we all do!
