Mark's company sales and services residential elevators, wheelchair lifts, and stairway lifts. It's a great business to be in most of the time. It is sooo great to see the happy face of someone who is able to go upstairs in their home for the first time in years, or the happy face of parents when they are able to move their kids from one floor to another. Mark has been doing this type of work for 25+ years now and can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years we have met alot of intersting people some of them even famous. While we help them with their physical needs we often find that they need someone to talk to that has some understanding of what they are going thru. Mostly in the case of someone being in a bad accident and the disability is all of a sudden. We really enjoy this part of the business too.

Business is good. God is better! Remember to pray over your business everyday and to be constantly seeking out new inspiration and ideas; ask God for them. There is nothing worse than letting your business become stagnant and dead bc of lost vision. (I know this because its what Ive been focusing on all morning!) Remember, God did not give you your business for you, but for His glory. Build his house, and he will build yours!

How about starting a directory of businesses? Also, a directory of connections. Anyone need a lawer, accountant, bookkeeper? This could be a great place to share connections and recommendations, as well as getting to know what everyone actually does with their businesses?

Big thanks to all the guys that helped erect the swing set last Thursday and especially to Eric Tymchuck for organizing it. This is a huge part of building the church!

hey all,

I am holding Christopher so please forgive typos. I just got back into town and am glad to join. I have limited time in the private sector, but I am excited to be a part of this. I also have written a few business development plans for small businesses during my MBA program so I have some experience and great contacts for any one interested. I will write more later. Jenny has convinced me to buy her chinese for dinner.
