C3 Atlanta Family's prayer requests

Since we are a church family, and this site is bringing us together in a fresh way, I think it would be nice to create a place where we can share prayer requests with each other. So... if you would like to, you can post your requests here.

And if it is set upon your heart to pray for a request you see here, then let that person know you are praying for him or her. Prayer is powerful!

Let's pray for the Stephens: Jasmine's mom passed away night before last (May 19th) after a long battle with cancer. She is in no more pain and no more suffering, praise God. But let's please surround Jasmine's dad, and her two brothers, and her (of course) with prayer as they deal with this loss. Laponda was an amazing woman. She poured so much in her children and was truly beautiful - inside and out. We just need to lift up her family through this difficult time of transition. The good thing is that they all got to say goodbye that night to their wife, mom and best friend....I know God's comfort surpasses anything you or I might say, and His peace passes all our understanding. I love you all for joining with me to pray for our C3 family.

Oh wow, thank you for letting us know Aimee! Laponda was a wonderful woman. She was one of the first people I talked to when I starting coming to C3 a year ago. I will be praying for the family.

Everyone, please pray for my nephew. Silas is only 6 weeks old and is having seizures. They have done many medical tests on him and can not find the source of the seizures. Please pray for my sister, her family and of course my beautiful nephew Silas.

I used to have seizures as a young child too.. they were fever induced seizures, I know I scared my parents pretty bad on some occassions. I'm sorry to hear your nephew and his family is having to go through this difficult ordeal. I am praying that God would send His angels to surround Baby Silas and calm his nervous system and bring comfort to his parents.

My Grandma is having major abdominal surgery tomorrow. They need to cut out most of her stomach to keep it from pushing into her chest and lungs. The doctor's have not given her a great chance of recovery due to her age and health but the surgery is a must. Please keep her in prayer as she undergoes at 9am in the morning. Thank you all!

My Mother fell on Friday, she broke her hip and had surgery that night to put 2 rods in there. She is still in the hospital and hopefully next week will go to a rehab. She will be 86 this year and getting back on her own two feet (literally!) is going to be quite a battle. Even more importantly please pray for her need for salvation.
